About the role

DevoQtpus is a software engineering studio trusted by startups and enterprises worldwide. We are launching a Social Media Marketing Internship Program for motivated individuals who want hands-on experience building brand presence, creating content, and growing audiences for a B2B technology company. You will work closely with our leadership team to plan, create, and publish content that showcases our projects, culture, and expertise. This is a remote internship with flexible hours, ideal for students or early-career marketers ready to build a real portfolio.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and maintain a weekly social media content calendar across LinkedIn, X (Twitter), Instagram, and other relevant platforms.
  • Create engaging posts, carousels, short-form videos, and graphics that reflect the DevoQtpus brand voice and visual identity.
  • Write clear, compelling copy for posts, captions, and campaign hooks tailored to each platform's audience and format.
  • Research industry trends, competitor activity, and relevant hashtags to inform content strategy and timing.
  • Repurpose existing assets such as case studies, project launches, and blog content into social-ready formats.
  • Schedule and publish content using social media management tools and ensure consistent posting cadence.
  • Monitor comments, messages, and mentions, and flag engagement opportunities for the team to respond.
  • Track basic performance metrics including reach, impressions, engagement rate, and follower growth.
  • Prepare weekly or bi-weekly performance summaries with insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Collaborate with the engineering and design team to gather project updates, screenshots, and stories worth sharing.
  • Support employer branding initiatives that highlight team culture, hiring, and behind-the-scenes studio life.
  • Stay up to date with platform algorithm changes, new features, and best practices for B2B tech marketing.
  • Assist with light community outreach, including engaging with posts from clients, partners, and industry leaders.
  • Maintain brand consistency in tone, visuals, and messaging across all published content.
  • Participate in weekly check-in calls to review performance, plan upcoming campaigns, and align on priorities.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, or a related field.
  • Strong written English with the ability to write professional, engaging social copy for a B2B audience.
  • Familiarity with major social platforms and how B2B brands use them effectively.
  • Basic graphic design skills using tools such as Canva, Figma, or Adobe Express.
  • Self-motivated with good time management and the ability to work independently in a remote setting.
  • Interest in technology, software development, or digital products.
  • Comfortable receiving feedback and iterating quickly on content.

Nice to have

  • Experience managing social accounts for a brand, student organization, or personal project.
  • Understanding of SEO basics and how social content supports broader digital marketing goals.
  • Familiarity with analytics dashboards on LinkedIn, Meta, or X.
  • Basic video editing skills for Reels, Shorts, or LinkedIn video posts.
  • Portfolio or examples of social content you have created.
